The wunderful countryside of the Brixen valley, with its idyllic small side valleys, is enjoyable in many ways. Well prepared cross country trails and winter walking paths take your through the valley and join seamlessly with the network of trails in the neighbouring regions in the Kitzbühel Alps. There is a cicular 4,5 km long high cross country trail in Hochbrixen at an altitude of 1 300m above sea level, as well as a cross country trail network in Aschau both of wich allow cross country skiing into spring time. |
